Description:
The candidate will be able to analyze complex requirements, utilize existing software tools, and work closely with Graphic Designers to translate visual concepts into useable web-applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, debug, and refine web-applications that produce the required designs;
- Prepare both program-level and user-level documentation;
- Enhance software to reduce processor, memory, and bandwidth requirements;
- Develop easy-to-use administer consoles and user interfaces that allow administrators to update and (re)configure the applications efficiently;
- Lead all aspects of the design, development, testing, implementation, and management of the web-applications;
- Support the database integration.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience developing web-applications, with in-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, Flash, JavaScript, PHP, Pearl, and MySQL in a Unix/Linux hosting environment.
Apache Tomcat web server installation and configuration experience is a plus, Knowledge and experience to develop in a customer environment with customer approved applications and tools, either via remote desktop or on location.
BS/BA degree preferred.
