Windows Small Business Server 2008 gets it right

0

Drawing2p.jpgDesigned to be the only software sitting at the center of a small-business network, Windows SBS 2008 packs a wealth of functionality in one package, including Windows Server 2008, Exchange Server 2007, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Windows Server Update Services, and the potential to integrate Office Live Small Business 2008.

Network and server security are available with SBS, and trial versions for Forefront for Exchange and Windows Live OneCare Server are included in the package. The administration of the package is relatively easy and can be done remotely. Windows SBS 2008 only runs on 64-bit hardware.

For most small companies, SBS 2008 will provide the basic functions necessary for the business in a package that is easy to set up and administer, and that integrates readily with Microsoft Windows Vista and XP clients.
