Apple store robbed in 31 seconds flat

Marlton, N.J. (ip-192.com): Some Apple products are hot – perhaps too hot! 23 MacBooks, 14 iPhones and 9 iPod touches were stolen last night in a smash and grab burglary. The burglars hit the in Marlton, N.J., at 2.05 a.m. Thursday night and went away with the goods, which have an estimated value of $46,345, based on the average selling price. The break-in was the second burglary into the Apple store in four months, according to the company.

The hottest item, however, could be the short video taken by security cameras in the store. It shows five people wearing masks, smashing the glass doors, and signaling to the security guard that they had a gun. After entering the store, they cleared out the display tables in 31 seconds flat.

The short video-clip, taken by the security cameras, was shown on WPVI-TV, the local Philadelphia ABC affiliate. It is not clear if Apple will make it available for download. We guess a top-spot as one of the hottest downloads would be guaranteed.
